This year, the Zonta Club of Silicon Valley hosted a discussion with several local authors at the New Kepler Pavilion inside Kepler's Book Store, 1010 El Camino Real, in Menlo ParkThe featured authors were:

January 2011 -- Area-Wide Amelia Earhart Luncheon
In January 2011, together with other Zonta Clubs in Area One, we honored two local winners of the 2010 Amelia Earhart Fellowships, Noel Bakhtian Cecilia Larrosa, during a luncheon at Left Bank restaurant in Menlo Park. Thank you to Area One Director Beth Minear-Rex and member Faye Mellos for organizing this event!
"Financial Fitness" Workshops at Tech Trek 2010 Summer Camps at Stanford
In July 2010, club members volunteered for an afternoon to put on "Financial Fitness" workshops for rising eighth-grade girls attending the Tech Trek math and science camps at Stanford.2009 Spring Forward! Networking Event & Accessory Drive
In the Spring of 2009, we sponsored a networking event for the community, which was also an accessory drive for the Career Closet. We collected approximately 10 bags of donations for the Career Closet!Fall 2009: 4th Annual Fall Theater Fundraiser -- Amelia
In the Fall of 2009, we held our 4th annual Fall Theater Fundraiser, raising funds to sponsor attendees at Tech Trek. Rather than attend a play as in years past, we attended a movie instead, that was based on the life of a former Zontian, Amelia Earhart!

In May 2008, our club held an Authors' Luncheon to raise money for our service fund, including to sponsor attendees at the Tech Trek math and science camps for rising eighth-grade girls at Stanford! Many thanks to authors Ann Packer, Michealene Cristini Risley, Kelly Corrigan, and Jesse Ziff Cool, and author/emcee Deborah Jenkins for their participation!
